Adyghe salt – unique seasoning

Roots of the Adyghe salt recipe can be found in the ancient traditions of Circassia’s cuisine. The production technology for the product is not based on simply mixing the condiments, such as spices and salt together, instead we soak the salt crystals in the beneficial properties of spices and herbs like garlic, coriander, fenugreek, jatta, thyme, dill, parsley, red pepper, black pepper, etc. Table salt, saturated with the beneficial properties of the above mentioned components, seep deep into your dish, enriching it with vitamins, creating a wonderful taste and giving it an appetizing aroma.

Adyghe salt “Abadzehian” (Абадзехская)

Table salt, garlic, coriander, black pepper, dill, parsley.

Salt is special because the ingredients in it are not grounded, but instead we use dried and chopped herbs. It can be used when preparing any meal.

It is used for preparation of the first and second courses, salads, in salting, marinating vegetables, meat, barbeque, bacon, fish, etc., thus replacing the ordinary table salt.

Given that the product has increased salinity, preferably use 12–15 % less salt than usual. Using this natural product reduces the salt consumption of the body.

Adyghe salt “Bzhedugskaya” (Бжедугская)

Table salt, garlic, red bell pepper powder, coriander, khmeli suneli.

Red bell pepper is the main ingredient of this product. It is recommended in the preparation of main courses.

It is used when preparing the first and second course dishes, salads, in salting, marinating vegetables, meat products, shashlik, barbecue, bacon, fish, etc. by replacing conventional table salt.

Adyghe salt “Ulyapskaya” (Уляпская)

Table salt, garlic, coriander, red bell pepper, black pepper, theme, oregano, edible brown algae, J (40±15.0).10–4 %.

In this salt’s recipe the herbs and spices have been added in an optimal quantity. Use it when preparing any meal.

Adjika Ulyapskaya

Adyghe salt, green pepper flakes, pepra, khmeli suneli, black pepper, red bell pepper flakes, white pepper, coriander, garlic, parsley, dill.

Unlike conventional adjika, which is made from pre-milled components, “Adjika Ulyapskaya” produced by our company is made from herbs and spices that have been dried and chopped. This helps to better preserve the beneficial properties and qualities from the product’s natural ingredients. Moreover, food becomes visually more appealing.

There are various uses for “Adjika Ulyapskaya”, here are some of them:

  • By adding it to a 1:1 mixture of sour cream and stewler (you can also use kefir or ryazhenka) you will get a wonderful white sauce for your main dish. This tasty product is known to the Adyghe people as “Apaships” (Апащыпс).
  • Use adjika when preparing soups and add it at the end.
  • Are you preparing ground beef for burgers, meatballs, ravioli or any other dish? Add adjika.
  • Use our adjika when marinating meat for shashlik, when preparing meat and fish dishes, as well as preparing poultry meat dishes.
  • You will get a more distinctive flavour if you dissolve it in red sauces or ketchup.
